The Fantastic Mr. Fox

Movie review in 3 sentences or less.
One weird cuss movie.  Like being on a bad acid trip. Not that I've ever been on an acid trip, but if I were imagining what one would be like, this is it.

This and That

  • Today it isn't crunching of cereal that has sent me running from the kitchen, but the smacking of toaster strudel.  How can one eat toaster strudel loudly?  Note to self:  Cross toaster strudel and cereal off grocery list.
  • Have you seen what Lifechurch is doing with Youversion?  Totally cool.  I am intrigued by the way this church uses technology.  Amazing!  I downloaded The Message Bible for my iPhone this morning. You don't even have to be online to use it.  Very nice!!  Thank you Lifechurch and The Message publisher. Oh and if you go to church there or watch the sermon online they have this live version where the notes for the sermon are available on your phone and then you can add your own notes.
  • I have spent way too much time scouring the waiver wire for fantasy football players.  (Even worse is the fact that I just typed that sentence.  If you know what it means, you are just as badly addicted to FF as I am.)  My best tight end who has scored many points (even when I stupidly sat him on the bench) is now out for the season.
  • I am going to see the Michael Jackson movie on Friday and can hardly wait.  I was going to break out my sparkly glove necklace to wear to the movie, but can't find it anywhere.  Rats!
  • I am currently reading The Gargoyle by Andrew Davis.  It is one weird, but fascinating book.  I'll post a review when I've finished it.  So far, I love it, but I can't figure out what he is going to do with the story next.
  • I think the smacking has stopped so I'd better get back in the kitchen and crack the whip to get everyone to the bus on time.
