Finally Well...I think

I think we are all finally well around here, but this stomach virus has hung on longer than any I've ever seen. I went out to eat my first real meal since being sick. We ate at TGIFridays where I proceeded to order half the menu and then eat all it, right down to dessert. The dessert was Brownie Obsession if you must know and it was delicious!

Ugh!

The stomach virus has hit our house and it is not pretty. Chase started it all on Tuesday night. He was sick Wed. and finally started feeling better yesterday. Yesterday about 4:30 I started getting a stomach ache. I mean a killer stomach ache. Horrible! And then of course you can guess the rest. Cole was at a birthday party last night and they had to call us to come pick him up because he was sick. I am on day 3 of missing work...not good!

We Made It!

We left around 9 this morning and got to San Antonio about 11:30 p.m. Yes, we stopped for lots of shopping along the way. First stop was IKEA in Round Rock, TX. Words cannot describe this fantastic store. Just go! You've got to see it for yourself. I wanted to buy everything I saw, but I didn't. I bought a few things for around the house, but no big furniture. We were in IKEA for about 3 hours. The store is huge! They even have a restaurant in the middle of the store. Everything seemed to be reasonably priced. We then drove about another 45 minutes and stopped at the outlet mall in San Marcos. I just had to go to the Big Dog store to get a couple of new t-shirts. We also hit the Borders Outlet Store. By the time we got to San Marcos, it was almost closing time for the stores so we'll have to hit San Marcos again on the drive home. We had a delicious dinner at Bennigans and then continued our trek to San Antonio. Thankfully Keeks brought her laptop and there is wifi, so here I am posting away at 1 a.m. I guess I should sign off...got to be up and around fairly early to make it to the wrestling tournament at 8:30.

San Antonio or Bust

I'm headed to San Antonio this morning. WooHoo! We're going to watch my nephew wrestle in the Texas Regional Tournament. Of course the trip down will involve lots of shopping. We are planning to stop in Round Rock at IKEA and of course we have to stop at the outlet malls in San Marcos. I love road trips!
